Founder
Trent has spent nearly two decades building businesses, including multiple successful exits alongside longtime business partner Mark Combs. Today, he brings that experience to Simple Genius, helping business leaders see clearly and turn direction into action. Outside of business, Trent enjoys hunting, fishing, the gym, and just about anything outdoors.
Advising Founder
Mark has spent his career building, operating, and selling businesses, including multiple 8-figure exits alongside Trent. A CFA and former Wofford football player, Mark brings decades of business knowledge and a sharp business mind to the Simple Genius team and its clients. He still appreciates competition and a good bourbon.
Sales & Marketing
Sam has spent the past two years being mentored by Trent and Mark and now helps bring what he’s learned to Simple Genius clients. A former college golfer at Anderson University, Sam brings a competitive mindset and a passion for building relationships to the team. On Saturdays, you’ll probably find him pulling for the Georgia Bulldogs.
